Representational Histories

Representational Histories is an experiment on how time, space, history, and formal representation are all expressed through medium.  Ranging from snapshots of anonymous moments in time,  documentation of the Changarrito in its early phases, conceptual political statements, and texts that are ahistorical in their ubiquity, Representational Histories is an exploration of the ways in which our histories are documented through simple representation.

Voyeuristic Awareness

Voyeuristic Awareness captures fleeting moments of time and interaction.  Conceptually, the work gives the viewer a glancing snapshot of a moment that is intimate and delicate.

Ephemeral Language

The third section of Changarrito SEVEN is dedicated to language and its fleeting nature.  Language is used as a communicative device, but also contributes to misunderstandings and mistranslations.  Language is passing and fleeting, and contradictory.  Ephemeral Language is an exploration of this intangible nature of language and its ephemeral qualities.
